My name is Emi, and I’m an artist, slowpoke, and occasional silly goose based in Portland, OR. I paint fruits, vegetables, plants, and playful characters that feel like they’ve wandered in from the pages of a storybook. My work is a celebration of the living creatures, sensory pleasures, and unhurried moments that nourish, delight, and surprise us.

 

With expertise in both digital and traditional mediums, I have collaborated with nonprofits, businesses, schools, and individuals to tell their stories and elevate their spaces. ​

 

I hope my work offers a brief pause, a spark of delight, and a reminder of how it feels to be fully present and gently amazed.
